Meet Balbir Sohi! She has been working in the dental industry since 2002. She believes in giving back to the community and founded "My Dream Smile ", a non-profit organization that not only creates awareness about oral health and its impact on overall health, but also strives to help the less fortunate.
She is an educator, an activist and believes in sharing knowledge, which led her to start a TV show called "Health talk with Balbir". This show focuses on health education; demonstrating her advocacy of awareness and oral health education.
She is a member volunteer with "Stop Diabetes Foundation" and is passionate about educating others on the effects of diabetes on oral health and understands it first hand as her mother is also diabetic. She wants to make a difference in the lives of others; as she also wholeheartedly believed in their motto - educate , enable and empower.
Balbir is a recipient of many awards and appreciations such as, Woman Hero Award, Woman Achiever Canada 2015 and has been recognized by organizations sharing rich traditions. She also volunteers with many organization such as Indus Community, PCHS, Peel Regional Police Race against Racism, etc. Balbir is a member in good standing of Canadian Dental Hygiene Association (CDHA), Ontario Dental Hygiene Association (ODHA). She is also an active member of organizations such as Brampton Board of Trade (BBOT) and Indo Canadian Chamber of Commerce (ICCC).
Balbir love to spend time with her family and friends. she said "My home is my pride and I take pleasure in making it a warm and welcome retreat"
Claudia Tedesqui, CDA II, RDH
Meet Claudia Tedesqui! She was born in Bolivia and shortly after graduated from dentistry she moved to Canada.
Over the past 18 years, she had the opportunity of working in a variety of prestigious dental clinics and at the Holland BloorView Kids Rehab Hospital. She earned her Dental Hygiene degree in 2009 from Regency Dental Hygiene College.
She is very passionate about oral health, compassionate and caring with patients.
She is currently registered with the Canadian Dental Hygienist of Ontario as a self-initiated and she also is a member of the Canadian Dental Hygienist Association.
Her favorite hobbies are: spending time with family and friends, baking, running, and volunteer soccer with her husband.
Christine Chin, RDH
Meet Christine Chin! Christine started her career in the dental profession as a Certified Dental Assistant in 1985. She then pursuit her career in PDA , to expand her knowledge and skills. In 2007, Christine graduated as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
During her free time Christine volunteer in several non for profits organization; however, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
With over 30 years in the dental profession, Christine is very confident in her knowledge and clinical skills. Providing excellence in care is her primary goal for her clients.
She is very passionate about oral health and believes in healthy smiles. Christine also take pleasure in meeting new people.
